AH BENGS & VIKINGS: FRIENDS? Oct 25, 2007. Os, Norway - Congratulations to Bengs on having been selected to the 9th WT Os International Film Festival! It is among 88 short films, documentaries, animations and feature films screening at this year's festival - a long way from their roots back in 1998 when they only screened a single feature! This year the festival introduces an Audience Award, which will be anouced after the festival during a virtual awards ceremony via their web tv-channel. When We Were Bengs will be screened 3 times during
the School Programme (Skuleprogram) - Nov 7 through 9 @11.30am. And
the offcial screening will be held on Nov 9 @ 5.30pm during the Short
Film Programme (Kortfilprogram). This is the first time When We Were
Bengs has received multiple screenings at any event or film festival. |

| GETTING REEL IN CHICAGO! Aug 25, 2007. Chicago, IL - Alaric Tay's When We Were Bengs has made it's way to the United States midwest! It was annouced this morning, that the film is an Official Selection of the Chicago International REEL Shorts Festival 2007. The Festival seeks to provide the opportunity
for filmmakers around the world by showcasing their work to REEL PEOPLE
in the Chicagoland area. Currently in its fourth year, they are reknowned
as the REEL filmmakers choice for showcasing REEL talent to REEL people.
Project Chicago is excited to welcome all the participating filmmakers
for the 2007 fest! The festival takes place from September 21-23. |

| 3 WINS, 3 NEW FESTIVALS! June 26, 2007. Toronto, Canada - When We Were Bengs picked up three awards at the ReelHeART International Film Festival today. They are 1st Prize in the Experimental Category, Best Sound, and Best Editing awards. WooHoo!!! The wins were followed by more good news; the official invitations from three other film festivals came rolling in later in the day. Producer/Director/Writer & Star of Bengs, Alaric Tay, is proud to accept the invitation to participate as an Official Selection at the International Short Film Festival Detmold, Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival, and HollyShorts Film Festival. |

| CAMBO FEST 2007!!! May 25, 2007. Singapore - When We Were Bengs has been invited to participate in CamboFest, The film and video festival of Cambodia 2007. The festival runs from June 16-17, 2007. | BENGS US EAST COAST PREMIERE TO BE HOSTED BY 30TH ASIAN AMERICAN FESTIVAL Apr 21, 2007. Singapore - The Asian American International Film Festival has officially invited When We Were Bengs to particpate in its 30th installment. The festival has introduced many important Asian American and Asian artists to New York audiences and has premiered the works of filmmakers such as Stephen Chow, Lav Diaz, Marilou Diaz-Abaya, Arthur Dong, Michael Kang, Eric Khoo, Kei Kumai, Miike Takashi, Mira Nair, Narushima Izuru, Oxide Pang, Pang Ho-cheung, Park Chan-wook, SABU, Rea Tajiri, Johnnie To, Tsui Hark, Wayne Wang, and Zhang Yang, as well as spotlighting films by Oscar-winning artists Christine Choy, Keiko Ibi, Ang Lee, Steven Okazaki, Chris Tashima, and Jessica Yu. Director Alaric Tay is proud to accept the invitation on behalf of his film. The festival takes place from July 19-28 in New york City.
