ALARIC TAY - Heng (Producer, Director, Writer)
Alaric Tay began his entertainment career at the age of seventeen. He was first discovered when he walked into an audition for director Glen Goei’s first feature film, Forever Fever, where he played the annoyingly likable, Ah Seng.
Over the years, the versatility of this young actor is apparent in the myriad of roles he has taken on for numerous television shows, including leading roles in two telemovies, a docudrama and the popular drama-comedy, Money, which gave Alaric adequate notoriety as Singapore's next funny man. His intuitive comic timing and amusing physicality has provided shows like Whizzes of the Void Deck and Double Chin that extra pizzazz, and even garnered young fans across the country.
With various performance credits to his name, Alaric is an active participant in the film and entertainment community. Having embarked on a journey behind the camera, he has produced and directed four short films. Also a student of the late John Spencer (The West Wing), Alaric sits on the Board of Directors of Breaking Into Hollywood® - a non-profit entertainment organization, based in Los Angeles. Through the organization, Alaric aims to assist aspiring entertainment professionals to achieve their career goals with passion, creativity and integrity. He holds a Bachelor of Film & Television from Griffith University, Australia.
When We Were Bengs is his fifth directorial effort, and second project as Producer.

TERENCE TAY - Ah Bee
Ever since that fateful day in 1993 after appearing on a Christmas program, “All I want this Christmas” as an innocent young boy carrying the highly contagious chicken pox virus. He knew that this would be what he was meant to do, to infect the world not with chicken pox but with his passion in acting.
Since then, he has appeared in numerous plays while in his secondary school’s drama club and his destiny is further acknowledged when he won the ‘Best Supporting Actor’ award in the Inter School Drama Competition for his role as a nerd.
After graduation, he then went on to join the Singapore Repertory Theatre’s Young Company when he challenged himself with the different roles ranging from physical theatre in The Fall of the House of Usher and The White Road to being a tortoise in Fairytales You Thought You Knew. It was also during this time that he was selected to be part of the cast in SRT’s main production, The Perfect Ganesh, where his costume for the whole play was something that of a diaper and nothing else.
He believed that all the training he had received the past years was what helped him nabbed the role of Max in the highly acclaimed sitcom, “Living With Lydia” which spanned 4 very successful seasons and shown in countries like Hong Kong, Canada and the Unites States.
Upon completion of his national service, Terence took part in the second season of Singapore Ido,l where he was one of the Top 28 finalist. He was recently featured in an episode of My Sassy Neighbour where he played an autistic child and as a freshman doctor in the new medical drama on Channel 8, From The Medical Files 3.
 
BEN YEUNG - Ang Ku Kueh
Ben Yeung has over 10 years of experience as a dancer, starting from his active participation in dance performances, choreography and open competitions. By 17, Ben had already been awarded the Best Dancer title in Hong Kong’s National Secondary School Dance Competition, among other awards.
In recent years, Ben has become one of the main dancers to support singer Sandy Lam’s live concerts, joining her on tours, performing in Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai and Malaysia. Ben has also performed in major dance performances in Thailand, Japan, Seoul, Genting Highlands and Berlin, Germany. In April 2006, leading a team of 17 dancers and percussionists, Ben achieved a great accolade by winning the world’s first Hollaback Crew Dance Competition.
Since moving to Singapore, Ben’s acting career began to take off. He was offered a regular role on a Channel 8 drama called Heal and Be Healed. He has even hosted a children’s television program called KCTV. e made his feature film debut in Kelvin Tong’s 2006 art-house favourite, Love Story. A project initiated by Hong Kong celebrity, Andy Lau.
Ben has since been offered several supporting roles in 2 others feature films. In 2007, He will be appearing alongside Francis Ng and Harvey Keitel in the made-in-Singapore movie One Last Dance; and the Leap of Love, starring Joan Chen.
 
CAROLINE CHEONG - Jane Ho
The girl sweet enough to bring home to mum, yet oozes just that right amount of sexy lusciousness to make your mates jealous, Caroline started leaving her indelible mark on the entertainment scene playing young ingénues such as Lynette Khoo in Phua Chu Kang, as well as Donna Oliverio in Growing Up. This experience, coupled with her refreshing new look and sparkling personality, won her the coveted lead role as Kim in the highly popular local teenage drama, Light Years I & II on Channel 5.
Effectively bilingual in both English and Mandarin, Caroline has also made appearances on Channel 8 in dramas like Always on my Mind & The Champions. As host of the local kids program KC:TV, her abilities to sing, dance and act shone through. She has also completed two short films, Waking Up & Inspectator X & The Eternal City.
Stage credits include Prelude to a Kiss, & Theatre Idols: Sleepwalkers for Action Theatre, as well as the recently concluded chinese play, Ten Brothers for Toy Factory.
Her infectious smile also led her to be featured as one of the hottest babes on FHM Magazine cover and most recently Newman Magazine. She was also a member of girl band Cosmic Angels, who were the proud Singapore ambassadors of American cult make-up brand, Toni & Tina.
